STRUM GUITAR BAR
Does it get more Portland than this? While not a typical project for us, Strum was an easy flex, since at it’s core we were still helping a family build their dream in a creative and sustainable fashion. The program called for a really fun mash-up of vintage guitar sales and repairs, a beer/wine bar and a small, live-music venue. We helped scout potential locations, as well as design and permit the eventual build out in an iconic old bakery building. Much of the humble build-out and furniture was made from reclaimed materials. Yeah, it’s as cool as the idea sounds and has quickly become a go-to for locals and musicians passing through.
